Article Snippet: The microscope was based upon Cerna microscope components (Thorlabs), consisting of a darkfield slide holder equipped with side illumination RGB and White LEDs, an EPI-fluorescence imaging unit, a laser-based autofocusing unit and a SCMOS 8 Mp color camera (4096 × 2678 pixels) (Thorlabs CS985CU).
